Message: I met Harvey at his 80th birthday, and have come to have such a fondness and admiration for him. Always surprising in his savvyness with technology, zenlike in his pursuit of cribbage, thoughtful and kind. It's an honor to have known him, learned from him and loved him. Love and hugs Harvey

Message: G-d bless Harvey in his passing. I wish I could be with you all. I am so very grateful that my wife Rebecca and I had the opportunity to visit with Harvey in good cheer and wonderful spirit just a few months ago in his apartment in West Hartford. He took much joy, as did we, in updates and stories about all his children and grandchildren, and peaceful reflections on his life. Love, your cousin Daniel.

Message: To Harvey’s Family: My deepest sympathies to all of the Glass family, I was so saddened to hear about his passing. We met about 15 years ago when I took a position as school psychologist in Somers and I can’t tell you how much his professional counsel and friendship have meant to me over these years. He was a gracious and kind-hearted man who understood what was most important in life. I felt privileged to have known him and to have benefited from his guidance. Michael Wald
