Message: To Lil and family: I was sorry to read of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful human being - kind, soft-spoken, quiet - a true gentleman at all times. His love of music took him, together with you and many others, to concerts and musicals wherever they might be. He was always ready to go with you to all sorts of activities. It was sad to hear of his lengthy illness which handicapped him at the end. You are left with great memories. My sincerest sympathy to all of you. Fondly, Sarah Friedman

Message: Lil, I am so sad about Bob and even more sad that we are in Florida, and I am not there with you to participate in his funeral. He was a wonderful gentleman, and I admire him so much. How thrilled I was to see him and you at the last Torah study even though it was clear that he was feeling poorly. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences Bob's memory will always be a blessing to me! Stephen

Message: My condolences to the entire family. I worked with Bob at Colonial Leasing during his last year-he retired at the right time. I'll remember him scolding me for counter signing checks with a red pen-his admonition being "your putting us in the Red". He had a very wry sense of humor. I've told the story of a Xmas party(ok Hannuka-most of the crew was Jewish) where Bob drew his own name for a secret Santa gift--He said nothing, but we later figured it out---he bought himself a package of white socks! I smile everytime I picture his face as he opened the present.
