Message: I dont know what to say, I have known Shirley and Bill for more than 60 years. They were my friends, for all these years, and I think I ran into Shirl in Walbaums not to long ago. I took the photographs at Shirl's and Bills wedding, I just want to say how sorry I am to hear that she is not with us any longer.. I will miss seeing her, and the smile she always had for me... Maish

Message: I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. I loved visiting with Shirley when we would bump into each other at Gerald's. She never failed to ask me how my parents were doing and "be sure to say hello for me". She was such a lovely lady.

Message: Shirley was a special member of the Phillips family - While at PGS, she was Harry Phillips "right hand"! The entire family grew to respect and love her. Thank you, Shirley - for all of the help you gave. You will forever remain in our hearts and in our memories.

Message: I am so sorry to hear about Shirley's passing. She was such a warm, friendly woman and was one of my remaining fans. She loved to hear me sing, and when she was in services at the Emanuel, was always so complementary. I'm sorry the family has had so much sorrow in these past months, and hope there will only be happiness and good health for the Schwartz - Lazowski family for many years to come.

Message: I was so sorry to hear about Shirley. I remember her from when she and Bill would drive from Haynes Road to Sherwood Road (where I lived until 1966) and visit the Weinsteins. She was interested in all of us kids, and was fun! So was Bill! I enjoyed seeing her years later in a restaurant with some Hartford teachers, and then most recently at Lisa and Gary's a few years back. Always a pleasure to see this sweet lady! She will be remembered! Debbie Levine
