Message: David and family, I was very sorry to learn, this morning, of Mel's passing. I've known him as a lawyer my whole adult life, and always found him to be honest, kind and fair to all the people with whom he came in contact. Our breakfast group would anxiously await his return from vacation each year, to share with him his stories and jokes. I know this is a very great loss to David, with whom he was so close.
