Message: We're so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. In the many times we were able to spend with him and Marian over the years at Wingdale and at other joint Watsky-Eisenberg family functions he was a truly gentle man. It was a quality that was shared by Genie and, through them both, on to the next generation. Our thoughts are with the entire Eisenberg family. Know we are with you in spirit and that we remembered Dick as we said Kaddish at last night's Shabbat service so far away in Portland, Oregon.

Message: Karen & Family, So very sorry about your Dad's passing. I know how close you were to him. He will always remain in a special place in your heart. Memories are a wonderful thing. Keep them alive through family and friends.Though I did not really know your dad, it seemed that he was the type of role model that we should all aspire to be. Know that our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Message: Dear Eisenberg Family, I have known your dad only a short time. My mom resides on the same floor as yours. My father, also named Richard, became a H.H. friend of your dad's. They spoke daily as their visits regularly coincided. I, too, had the good fortune of knowing what a special man your father was. When walking my mom up and down the hallways I'd always stop and sit next to Dick and "shoot the breeze" for a while. Your mom having a firm grip on his hand, looking lovingly into his eyes and he hers. I feel privileged to have known, if only briefly, such a kind and devoted man. I'll miss my chats with him as will my dad. My deepest condolences to you all.

Message: To Bill Eisenberg and the Eisenberg family, I was very sorry to hear about your dad and would like to express my condolences to you. I will always remember your dad from my years working for him and Ted at the garage in Bloomfield. Your dad taught me a lot during those times; the right way to run a business, how to repair cars, how to treat people with respect and how to live life in an upstanding way. His example has always inspired me. He will be missed. Geoff Powell
