Message: Dear Barb, Roye, Rickey and Robby, Our sincere condolences to your entire family on the passing of Howard. We are so pleased that we had the opportunity to know Howard and share some fun and some "very interesting times" together. We will always cherish the last several Sunday mornings we spent laughing, drinking coffee and watching Howard enjoy his bagel and lox. Howard had an amazingly sharp wit and mind. His intelligence striking. We loved his directness. I loved meeting another news junkie. Barbara, you are and were a caretaker extraordinare and Howard, always appreciated your loving care and kindness. You should feel proud of all your endeavors, and you did it all with a 22k gold heart, a smile and a great sense of humor. May Howard finally be at peace, and out of pain. We are here for you always Barb. love, judy, david, betty and goose

Message: It is always difficult to express ones feelings when some one you have known for so many years is no longer with us. it would take pages and pages to tell of the times we had in front of Maxwells Drug store, in the "good old days of the north end" I am sure there will be a lot of glowing praises for Howard in this guest book, but all I want to say is HOWARD was a "GOOD GUY" a good guy all around, a good husband a good father a good grandfather, a good friend, what more can one ask of a person.????Barbs this is a difficult time, and this is the time to show what you are made of, you have to be brave, and think of all the good things and good years you and Howard had together. Believe me I share your grief, and I know you will handle it with the strength, I know you have... Tell the children I offer my sorrow, and that you all must do your best to get through it. Maish

Message: Robby...Just wanted to pass on my condolences on the death of your father. I have vivid memories of the stories you used to tell about Howard when you were a student at K-O. I was struck back then as to how much you respected and loved him. Peace, Todd
