Message: It was my good fortune to work with Carol throughout her entire tenure in the Bacon Guidance office. She, of course, was the first person that students saw when they entered the office and she was ever gracious and friendly and took a real interest in all those who came in. As a teacher, I knew that I could expect the same. Although a very busy lady, she was always able to find a few minutes to help me or just to chat. She was also one of my links to the history of Bacon as it was often she who kept me up-to-date on the next "Big Bacon Party" i.e. anniversary. She also provided me with specific information about Bacon history as well. After she retired it was always fun to see her at various gatherings of "staff emeritus": the annual all schools "first day of school" breakfast at Mohegan Sun or the occasional lunches at Frank's or even at gatherings at various retired staff members' homes. Just as I missed her when she retired from Bacon, I am going to miss her now. How fitting that a scholarship should be established in her name at the school to which she was so devoted. Cherish the memories!
