Message: Dear Dana and Robyn, I have not seen you in many years but knew your mother from our days at UCONN and living in West Hartford. She was a very lovely woman and I am sure that you shared many happy times with her. May her memory be blessed. Sincerely, Michael Lipton

Message: I am so upset to learn of Sue's passing. We lost touch when we both retired and moved. For the last three years I tried to find Sue when I was visiting friends in Florida. I called every Sue Friedman I could find to no avail. I just had a feeling that something was wrong. Dana and Robyn--you and your families were her pride and joy. I haven't seen you in so many years; but I send my love and prayers. It is too late as I write this to make it to the services but please know that you are in my thoughts. Love, Dale Vannie

Message: Dear Robyn and Dana, My goes out to you and your families today. I will miss my dear friend very much. We became friends very quickly. It was like we knew each other our whole lifes. We loved the same things, cooking, entertaing, movies, travel and politics. We would talk for hours after work. Sue would make me dinner if when I worked late and I would bring the wine and we would talk late into the night. Sometimes we would go to the movies 2 times a week and if we missed a movie at the theatre we would spend the night with rentals and the food network and become couch potatoes. We were just getting started with our cookie business which was such fun for both of us when she she got her diagnosis. Everytime I see a cookie I will think of the great time we had with that little venture.I know the last 2 years were very hard on her and her family. I couln't stand to see her in all that pain.I know she is a peace now. I will have her in my heart and mind for the rest of my life. Please know that she was loved by a lot of her friends in Florida. Ellen Hershman
