Message: Norman was wonderful to me for over fifty years. He was kind and fair and enormously supportive . When I first started to do photography more than forty years ago, no one was more encouraging or helpful. Unfortunately I am leaving tomorrow for a few days and will not be able to see you in person and give all of you a big hug. Norman was a winner and I do know how very proud he was of all of you. xxxxxxxx marc abrahms

Message: Dear Nadine and Ellen Harold and I are so sorry to learn of Norman's death. Just checking our messages and there it was. Harold remembers you girls at Camp Shalom, and I remember meeting your parents and becoming your babysitter. I was always so impressed by their kindness, not to mention their physical bearing. The generations come and go. There is nothing we can do to stop the rhythm of life...We just do the best we can every day we have. Please accept our deepest sympathy at this most difficut time. Roberta DuBrow and Harold Rudin

Message: I would like to send my sympathies to Norman's family. I am a nurse at the Hebrew Home in West Hartford, Ct. I was Thelma's nurse when she was a resident on 4-South. I do not remember her passing. I left there in 2004 for a serious illness and now work on another unit. I remember Thelma calling out for Norman a lot. She seemed to need him very much. He was always very concerned about her. Again, my sympathies to the family who have now lost both parents. My husband said when he lost both of his parents "I are no ones child". I say "We are all God's childen". May Norman rest in peace.
