Message: Dear Family of Fran, I was very saddened to read about your Mom's passing. I have not seen her for quite a while, but I remember her with a great smile and so loving. She was lots of fun on the tennis court and off, also. Everyone loved being with her because she made all of us feel so special. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all. Take care, Elaine Kaufmann

Message: Fran Markowitz was and will always remain a significant, unforgettable and positive part of my youth. She opened her summer home to me each and every day and night with warmth and humor (and food). My condolences to her family. She was a wonderful woman with influence not only on her family, but also on others like me.

Message: For a short period of time I was going with Gail and learned how to make spaghetti from Mrs Markowitz. She was a delightful person with a big smile. I also remember Ray. This was a long time ago and I am now 77 years old. I also remember the Winklers. God I feel old...I wonder when my time is coming. Meantime you all keep healthy and wise best of luck! I live out here in Montana in the Bull Mountains a world away from back east. God bless all of you!!
